Norfolk Lodge started off the Masonic year this past Monday at their Regular meeting with several important milestones.  First of all the new officers for the upcoming year were installed into their positions with the Worshipful Master serving Norfolk Lodge for another year.  He was also presented with his past Master's Jewel, which is given to every Master of the Lodge on the completion on their first team.  This jewel was previously worn by the first Master to serve Norfolk Lodge in our current lodge building back in the 1970s

But, perhaps even more special was that one of the brothers of Norfolk Lodge was honored by the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts with the Distinguished Service Medal, Wor. Deke Eaton of Needham.  This medal is given to brothers who are active in their lodge, their community, and their church.  He has been active in the town of Needham and the Lodge since his retirement from American Airlines.  Brother Eaton's wife and son were in attendance to see him receive this award.

After the meeting the brothers retired to the dinning room to partake of fellowship and good food.
